Limited to 6 Participants - Hiking is part of the workshop. Need to be able to carry your gear for at least one half mile on a hiking trail.

Our workshop headquarters is a spacious casa located a few blocks from downtown Moab shops, restaurants and galleries. Arches National Park is 5 miles away, Dead Horse State Park and other photo locations are less than an hour from our HQ. We can easily walk to dinner and other services.

In addition to full kitchen, table for 10, a comfortable common area, our casa includes a private hot tub, outdoor fire pit, BBQ Grill, washer and dryer, WiFi, and parking.

Arrivals begin on Monday, Oct. 5 at 4pm. The workshop starts on Tuesday morning. And departure is Saturday morning by 9am.

Our photo excursions will include the beautiful landscape of Arches National Park, Dead Horse State Park, the Colorado River, and more. And we’re there the best time of year!

Tuition

The workshop tuition is $1,495, which includes park fees, on-location guidance, classroom sessions, breakfasts and lunches, final presentations, and access to derrickstoryonline where we will begin preparing for our adventure in August and use throughout and after the physical event has concluded.

How to Reserve Your Spot

A deposit of $200 reserves your space. Per the workshop cancelation policy, deposits are non-refundable. You will be invoiced for the remaining balance prior to the workshop.

What Happens After the Paid Deposit?

We’ll follow up with you confirming your payment and will begin the planning process. Final invoices for the balance of the tuition will be sent 5 months before the event.

Cancelation Policy

The workshop deposit is non-refundable. Cancellation up to 60 days before the event will provide you with a $750 refund for fully-paid tuitions. There is no refund for cancellations within 59 days of the event.
